This extremely unusual and sought-after Epipremnum 'Marble Planet' (commonly known in the botanical world as Monstera karstenianum or Monstera Peru) stands out with its distinctly textured, thick, and glossy leaves. Its embossed, deeply grooved venation and subtle tonal transitions literally resemble a green, mysterious planet or even the skin of an exotic reptile. It is a fast-growing yet very resilient houseplant that looks wonderful both elegantly hanging from a shelf and climbing around a plant support. It will add a striking, modern jungle atmosphere to any interior and serves as a very interesting, educational, and long-lasting gift for both experienced collectors and plant beginners.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright, diffused light. To develop large, beautifully textured leaves and maintain the delicate leaf pattern, the plant needs plenty of light. It can also adapt to some partial shade, but will grow more slowly. Be sure to protect it from direct, scorching midday sun!

• 💧 Watering: Moderate. Allow the top layer of soil (about 3-5 cm) to dry out completely between waterings. Thanks to its thick, fleshy leaves, this plant tolerates short periods of dryness and occasional forgetfulness better than prolonged soaking in standing water (overwatering will quickly rot its roots).

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Thrives at standard room temperature and tolerates normal, drier indoor air very well. However, the plant will greatly appreciate occasional misting or dust rinsing in a warm shower to keep its grooved leaves shiny and able to breathe freely. Protect from cold drafts.

• 🐾 Pets: Not pet-friendly. The plant is toxic to cats and dogs if ingested or chewed (contains calcium oxalate crystals), causing irritation of the mouth and digestive tract.
