Akalifa (Acalypha hispida)

Akalifa, also known as "fox tail," is one of the most unusual plants that can instantly transform any interior. Its unique, long, and fluffy flower spikes in bright red create a dramatic and exotic impression, making it an excellent choice for bold plant lovers. This plant is not only a visual delight but also a wonderful gift that will bring tropical warmth and vitality to your home.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

  • ☀️ Light: Requires bright, diffused light. To bloom abundantly, it prefers a sunny spot but must be protected from direct, scorching midday sun rays.

  • 💧 Watering: Regular and generous. The soil should be constantly moist but not overly wet. Avoid complete drying of the soil during flowering.

  • 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Loves warmth and high air humidity. Regular misting around the plant is recommended (avoiding water on the fluffy flowers) or using a humidifier.

  • 🐾 Pets: Not pet-friendly – the plant's sap can be irritating, so it is advisable to place it out of reach of pets.

🏠 MOST SUITABLE ROOM:

  1. Sunny living room (as a bright and noticeable accent on a stand or table).

  2. Bathroom with a window (where natural humidity helps keep leaves and flowers fresh).

  3. Bright veranda or conservatory (where the plant can spread out and receive maximum light).
