Regal Sculptural Desert Rosette - Aeonium (Aeonium)
Get ready to bring complete geometric harmony, the exotic beauty of the Canary Islands, and the most noble silhouette in the world of houseplants into your home or onto a sunny windowsill - the stunning Aeonium (Aeonium)! This legendary plant, highly prized among succulent enthusiasts, is a true work of living art. The plant's greatest pride, magnet, and unmistakable signature is its breathtaking, sculptural leaf rosette: smooth, symmetrical leaves are arranged from the base to form a perfect flower or rose-shaped silhouette. The leaves shimmer in rich emerald and dark green tones, which, under the influence of sunlight, may develop expressive soft pink or even burgundy shades along the edges. As the plant matures, it forms a beautiful woody stem, gradually transforming into an elegant mini tree with a magnificent "ball" of rosettes at the top. In addition to its exotic aesthetic, Aeonium is famously hardy and requires minimal care. It is currently a beautifully grown, strong, notably sturdy and stable 15 cm plant in a perfectly sized 10.5 cm pot. It is the most prestigious, tasteful, and guaranteed-to-be-noticed gift for lovers of modern minimalism, succulent collectors, and anyone seeking untamed natural architecture in their home!
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
-
☀️ Light: Exceptionally generous, bright, and maximally sunny conditions! This is the main secret behind the density and color of this plant's rosettes: Aeonium is an absolute child of the sun. To keep its rosette compact and firm and help the leaf edges develop their famous pink or dark shades, place it in the brightest spot in the room (it will love and needs direct sunlight). If the light is insufficient, the rosette will become thinner and the stem will stretch unattractively. A south- or west-facing windowsill will be the perfect choice!
-
💧 Watering: Moderate and careful. Unlike many other desert cacti, Aeonium has slightly thinner leaves and a more delicate root system, so it prefers a little more moisture but absolutely cannot tolerate living in a swamp. Water the plant generously, but only when the soil in the pot has completely dried out between waterings! Since the plant is in a 10.5 cm pot, it will dry out moderately quickly in summer, but the plant absolutely cannot tolerate its roots or the base of its rosette soaking in standing water in the saucer, which can quickly cause rot. During the winter months, reduce watering to a minimum (once every 3-4 weeks).
-
🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Feels excellent and comfortable in warmth and room temperatures (+18°C to +26°C). This plant tolerates dry indoor air completely without problems, the heat of the heating season, and does not require misting or additional humidification. An important natural secret: Aeoniums have a pronounced "summer dormancy period" - on very hot summer days, they may slow their growth slightly and close their rosette to conserve moisture (this is completely natural!). Protect it from temperatures below +10°C and icy drafts in winter.
-
🐾 Keep away from pets: Although Aeoniums are not considered highly poisonous, their fleshy leaves may cause digestive tract irritation in cats and dogs if chewed. Place this magnificent sun rosette somewhere inaccessible to four-legged friends.

⚠️ A note and a dose of reality about Aeoniums: Plants are living organisms, so each specimen and its exact rosette size, leaf density, and color intensity are completely unique works of nature. Since this is already a nicely mature plant in a portable 10.5 cm pot, it is hardy and will not require immediate repotting for a long time. When you repot it in the future, you MUST use a special mineralized, sandy, and highly porous cactus/succulent soil mix (generously containing grit, pumice, and perlite) to ensure that excess water drains through the pot immediately and the roots always remain dry and healthy.
🌡️ COLD TIME! If the outside temperature is below +5°C, be sure to add a heat pack to the order so that plants and predatory mites do not freeze on the way.
❄️ In cold weather, we recommend choosing Smartpost parcel lockers, as they provide indoor delivery, reducing the impact of low temperatures on the shipment.
⚠️ Important about the heating element! ‼️ 1 heating element per 1 order – it is not necessary to put one for each plant. ‼️ Provides heat for up to 72 hours. Without a heating element – we do not take responsibility for frozen plants and predatory mites.
📦 Pick it up promptly! When the package has been delivered, collect it the same day. Do not leave the package in the parcel locker overnight! Cold and heat can damage the plants and predatory mites.
