CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: The champion of hardiness and shade tolerance! Unlike pink aglaonemas, this silver-green 'Silver Blue' variety can especially good at thriving in lower light and in shadier corners of the room. Of course, in indirect light (not direct sunlight), it will grow fuller and its silvery pattern will be more pronounced, but it’s a perfect choice for darker offices. Be sure to protect it from direct, scorching midday sun, which will quickly fade and burn the leaves.

• 💧 Watering: Moderate and very cautious - this plant will forgive you for forgetting, but will never forgive overwatering! Water the plant generously, but ONLY when the top half of the soil (or even 2/3 of the pot’s depth) has completely dried out. Absolutely absolutely cannot tolerate its roots sitting in standing water in the saucer. If the silvery leaves start turning yellow en masse and become soft/translucent, that's a clear sign of overwatering.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: It feels great and comfortable at a normal room temperature (+18°C to +24°C). This tropical survivor is exceptionally well adapted to dry indoor air and doesn't need special misting, but is extremely sensitive to cold! Protect it carefully from icy drafts and never keep it in a room where the air temperature drops below +15°C.

• 🐾 Keep away from pets and children: Aglaonemas contain calcium oxalate crystals in all parts of the plant, which are toxic. Chewing or swallowing them causes a strong burning sensation in the mouth, convulsions and digestive tract problems in dogs and cats.

⚠️ A note and a dose of reality about Aglaonemas: Plants are living organisms, and Aglaonemas are among the few plants that truly deserves the description "almost indestructible", unless you allow its one weak point - standing water in the pot. An important botanical fact: As the plant grows larger and gradually develops a thick stem, is absolutely normal and natural, that the very bottom, older leaf will occasionally turn yellow and dry up. This is not a cause for alarm! Simply cut it off. To bring back the large, to restore the silvery sheen of the leaves and remove dust, you can occasionally rinse the plant under a warm shower or wipe it with a damp cloth. When you repot it in the future, BE SURE to use a light, an airy, well-draining houseplant mix (generously mixed with perlite).
