Here lies the main secret to this plant’s impeccable beauty: for 'Frydek' to maintain its compact form and expressive white veining, it requires a large amount of light (it will especially enjoy the gentle rays of morning or late evening sun). However, strictly protect it from direct, scorching midday sun rays, which will instantly and irreversibly burn its precious velvet leaves. An east or west-facing windowsill is the perfect choice.

• 💧 Watering: Moderate and very thoughtful. As an elite jewelry alocasia, it absolutely does not tolerate overwatering or root soaking. Allow the top layer and the middle layer of the soil (about the first third of the pot) to dry out thoroughly between watering sessions! The plant categorically cannot tolerate standing water in the saucer or decorative pot, which will quickly cause sensitive root and tuber rot. Reduce watering significantly during the winter months.
