CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright but diffused light. To maintain the beautiful metallic sheen and healthy growth, it needs plenty of light, but be sure to protect it from direct, scorching sunlight, which can quickly burn and fade its leaves.

• 💧 Watering: Moderate and very careful. Alocasias are extremely sensitive to overwatering! Allow the top layer of soil (at least 3-5 cm deep) to dry out completely between waterings. It must not sit in standing water in the saucer, as this will cause root and tuber rot within a few days. Reduce watering slightly during the winter dormancy period.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Loves warmth and requires high air humidity. It will greatly appreciate the presence of a humidifier or placement on a pebble tray with water. Strictly protect it from cold drafts, air conditioning airflow, and sudden temperature fluctuations!

• 🐾 Pets: Not pet-friendly. The plant is toxic to cats and dogs. It contains calcium oxalate crystals that cause mouth irritation, drooling, swelling, and digestive issues if chewed. Keep it out of reach of pets!

🏠 MOST SUITABLE ROOM:

• Bright bathroom with a window (an absolutely ideal environment where the room has naturally elevated humidity and pleasant warmth from the shower).

• Aesthetic living room or bedroom (as a striking, sculptural design element near a window).
