CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright but MANDATORILY diffused light. Here lies the main secret of this plant’s stunning beauty: since there is no chlorophyll in the yellow and sunny zones of the leaves, the plant vitally needs a large amount of light (it will especially enjoy gentle morning or late evening sun) to maintain the expressive, contrasting variegation and prevent new leaves from simply turning green. However, strictly protect it from direct, scorching midday sun rays that will instantly burn those precious leaf parts. An east or west-facing windowsill is a perfect choice.

• 💧 Watering: Moderate and very thoughtful. Alocasias do not tolerate overly frequent watering or root soaking. Allow the topsoil and the middle layer between watering sessions to dry out thoroughly! Since the young plant is in a small 7 cm mini pot, it will dry out relatively quickly, but the plant absolutely cannot tolerate standing water in the saucer or decorative pot, which will quickly cause sensitive root and tuber rot. Reduce watering significantly during the winter months.
