Veitch's Anthurium (Anthurium veitchii)

Meet the "king of anthuriums" – Anthurium veitchii. This houseplant is famous for its long, drooping leaves, which have a unique, corrugated texture resembling fine grooves or antique columns. Even in its compact size, this anthurium adds an unprecedented sense of exoticism and luxury to the interior, making it an outstanding and exclusive gift for a true plant enthusiast.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • ☀️ Light: Bright, diffused light. Protect from direct sunlight to prevent the unique leaf texture from burning.

  • 💧 Watering: Moderate. Water when the top layer of soil is slightly dry. It is important to ensure good drainage so the roots can "breathe".

  • 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Loves warmth (20–28°C) and high air humidity. Misting is highly recommended, but the plant will thrive best near a humidifier.

  • 🐾 Pets: Not pet-friendly (may cause irritation if tasted).

  • Bright living room, where the anthurium can serve as a central exotic accent on an elegant stand.

  • Home jungle corner together with other humidity-loving plants that help maintain the necessary microclimate.

  • Large bathroom with a window, where natural steam will provide the royal plant with the needed humidity.
