Rooting agent Schultz is most often used for propagation of roses, geraniums, chrysanthemums, surfinias, fuchsias, begonias, various conifers, fruit trees and shrubs, as well as ornamental trees and shrubs by cuttings.

For many plant hybrids, propagation by cuttings is the best way to preserve identical flowering and growth traits as the mother plant. This method allows obtaining plants that are genetically identical to the mother plant.

Cuttings usually root within 3–5 weeks, depending on the plant species and growing conditions.

 Cutting rooting – instructions for use

1. Choose young, healthy, and well-developed plants for propagation.
2. Cut a 8–15 cm long cutting and place it in water for a while.
3. Remove the lower leaves, leaving 1–2 pairs of leaves at the tip of the cutting.
4. Recut the stem and dip it into the rooting powder, covering 1–2 buds (about 5 cm).
5. Shake off excess powder and plant the cutting in prepared soil.
6. Maintain moist soil and high air humidity – water and mist regularly.
7. To retain moisture, cuttings can be covered with transparent film, opening it briefly every day for ventilation.

 Fertilizing and acclimatization 

• After 3–5 weeks, when active growth is visible, start fertilizing with a light nutrient solution (½ dose).
• Gradually acclimate plants to the surrounding environment by increasing the time without the film each day.
• When new leaves appear, the film can be removed completely and fertilizing continued with the full dose.

 Additional uses of the rooting agent

• Watering seedlings, bulbs, shoots, and transplanted plants with a solution of 1 g per 1–2 L of water.
• Working solution consumption:
  
• for seedlings: 30–50 ml
• for berry and shrub seedlings: 250–300 ml
• for fruit and ornamental trees: 1.5–3 L
• for transplanted plants: 50–200 ml
• Soak flower and vegetable bulbs, as well as potatoes, in the solution for 16–20 hours before planting.

 Recommendations for better results

• To prevent root rot, it is recommended to treat the soil with fungicides.
• Humic acids can be added to fertilization to support root system development.
• When transplanting plants to a permanent place, it is advisable to use soil enhancers containing mycorrhiza, which improve water and nutrient uptake.
