This charming Calathea is one of the most stunning and expressive houseplants, known for its unique, painterly leaf patterns. CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright, diffused light or light partial shade. To maintain the beautiful leaf patterns, the plant needs light, but it must be strictly protected from direct sunlight, which will quickly fade and burn the delicate leaves.

• 💧 Watering: Regular and careful. Keep the soil consistently and evenly moist, but do not let the roots sit in standing water. Calatheas are especially sensitive to salts and chlorine in tap water (which can cause browning of leaf edges and tips), so it is best to use soft, settled, filtered, or rainwater for watering.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Loves warmth and very high air humidity. The plant will be extremely grateful for a humidifier in the room or growing it in a glass container/cabinet. In dry indoor air, leaf edges can quickly turn brown. Protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes!

• 🐾 Pets: Pet-friendly. This natural wonder is non-toxic and completely safe to have around cats and dogs in your home.

🏠 BEST ROOM:

• Plant terrarium or glass cabinet (ideal environment for a small seedling to provide the vital tropical humidity it needs).

• Bathroom with a window (a great place where the plant can enjoy naturally increased humidity from the shower).

• Bright room with a group of plants (plants placed close together help each other maintain higher humidity).
