This breathtaking Calathea 'Crocata', often called the "Eternal Flame" worldwide, is truly a unique and exotic houseplant. Unlike many other calatheas, this variety stands out not only with its dark green, wavy leaves (whose undersides are mysteriously purplish-red) but also with stunning, bright orange flowers that literally look like small flames rising above the foliage. Like other "prayer plants," this calathea raises its leaves upward in the evening and lowers them again in the morning. It is a vibrant and dynamic interior accent, as well as a wonderful and memorable blooming gift for any nature lover.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright, diffused light or light partial shade. To ensure abundant flowering and maintain leaf color, the plant needs light but must be strictly protected from direct sunlight, which can quickly bleach and burn the delicate leaves.

• 💧 Watering: Regular and careful. Keep the soil consistently and evenly moist, but do not let the roots sit in standing water. Calatheas are especially sensitive to salts and chlorine in tap water (which can cause leaf tips to brown), so it is best to use soft, settled, filtered, or rainwater for watering.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Loves warmth and very high air humidity. The plant will be extremely grateful for a humidifier in the room. In dry indoor air (especially in winter), leaf edges can quickly turn brown. Protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes!

• 🐾 Pets: Pet-friendly. This exotic and flowering natural wonder is non-toxic and completely safe to have around cats and dogs in your home.
