CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: An exceptionally generous, bright, and sunny environment! This is the main secret behind the plant’s square segments and dense growth: Cissus quadrangularis is a child of the sun. For its segmented stems to grow thick, firm, and strikingly geometric, place it in the brightest spot in the room (it will love and genuinely needs direct sunlight). In a spot that is too dark, the segments will become thin and elongated. A south- or west-facing windowsill is the perfect choice!

• 💧 Watering: Moderate in summer and very infrequent in winter. Since the cactus vine stores substantial water reserves in its thick, succulent stems, it cannot tolerate living in constantly waterlogged soil. Water the plant thoroughly, but only when the soil in the pot has completely—100%—dried out all the way to the bottom between waterings! Since the specimen is in a 12 cm pot, it will retain moisture well, but the plant categorically cannot tolerate its roots or the base of its stem sitting in stagnant water in the saucer, which can quickly cause rot.
