Cotoneaster Corokia (Corokia cotoneaster)

Discover one of New Zealand's most fascinating natural wonders – the Cotoneaster Corokia, often called the "wire netting plant." CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • ☀️ Light: Bright, diffused light or even direct sunlight. The plant enjoys well-lit places where it can maintain its silvery shine.

  • 💧 Watering: Water moderately. Allow the top layer of soil to dry out between waterings. Corokia does not tolerate "wet feet," so good drainage is important.

  • 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Prefers cooler or moderate temperatures (15-22°C). Misting is not necessary, as the plant adapts well to average indoor humidity.

  • 🐾 Pets: Pet-friendly – no reports of toxicity, making it a safe choice for homes with pets.

  • Sunny living room, placing it on a pedestal or a light shelf where its branching stands out.

  • Cooler hallway or entrance with a window, as Corokia likes fresh and slightly cooler air.
