This extremely unusual, sculptural, and resilient Cotyledon 'Coral' is a true botanical wonder from South Africa! It stands out with its very thick, fleshy leaves that resemble corals or sea creatures and are covered with a fine, silvery-white powder or bloom. When receiving enough sunlight, the edges of these silvery leaves turn an attractive reddish-pink tone, making the plant even more expressive. CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Maximum bright light and direct sunlight! For the cotyledon to maintain its compact shape, silvery color, and develop red leaf edges, it vitally needs a lot of sun. A south or southwest windowsill is an absolutely ideal choice. In too dark a place, it will lose color and become unattractively leggy.

• 💧 Watering: Rare and very careful. As a proper succulent, it stores large water reserves in its thick leaves. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings! It absolutely cannot tolerate root soaking in standing water in the saucer, which quickly causes root rot. Be very careful when watering – pour water directly onto the soil, trying not to wet or soak the leaves to avoid damaging their natural silvery protective layer. In winter, reduce watering to a minimum.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Thrives at standard room temperature and literally loves normal, dry indoor air. This plant must not be misted! In summer, it can safely be taken outside to fresh air on a sunny terrace, but in winter it will appreciate a slightly cooler but very bright room.

• 🐾 Pets: Not pet-friendly. The plant is toxic to cats and dogs. It contains substances that, if chewed and swallowed, can cause serious digestive issues, vomiting, and lethargy. Keep it out of reach of pets!

🏠 MOST SUITABLE LOCATION:

• Bright and sunny windowsill (an absolute prerequisite for beautiful color and rosette shape).

• Sunny balcony or terrace in summer (where it can enjoy direct sunlight).

⚠️ Note: Plants are living organisms, so each specimen and its reddish leaf edge may vary slightly (the more sun, the brighter the plant!). It is important to know the natural secrets about this plant: the silvery-white "powder" on its leaves is not dust but a natural sun protection layer (farina). Try not to touch the plant’s leaves with your fingers, because where this powder is rubbed off, it will not regenerate, and dark green "fingerprints" will remain on the leaves! When repotting, be sure to use extremely loose, sandy soil (soil intended for cacti and succulents, richly mixed with fine gravel or perlite) to ensure perfect water drainage.
