Royal Grand Cymbidium (Cymbidium)

Get ready to bring unparalleled royal luxury, tropical grandeur, and the most impressive orchid silhouette in the world of houseplants into your home, office, or prestigious salon—the stunning Grand Cymbidium (Cymbidium)! This legendary Himalayan and Asian mountain gem, held in the highest regard by orchid collectors and luxury interior designers alike, is a true masterpiece of living nature. The plant’s greatest pride, magnetism, and unique signature is its grand architecture: from the massive bulbs at the base, upright, sword-shaped leaves in a rich emerald-green shade rise in a generous clump, above which tall, strong flower stems proudly tower, bearing countless enormous flowers with a waxy texture. Cymbidium flowers are legendary for their incredible longevity—they bloom for an extended period and generously fill the room with a majestic atmosphere. It is currently a grandly grown, strong, exceptionally dense, massive, and impressive 80 cm specimen in a generous 14 cm pot. This is the most prestigious, tasteful, and flawless gift for special anniversaries, luxury interiors, reception halls, and anyone seeking the highest level of orchid majesty in their home!

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

  • ☀️ Light: Exceptionally generous, bright, and maximally light conditions! This is the main secret behind the plant’s generous flowering and strong leaves: unlike more delicate orchids, Cymbidium is an absolute light lover. To encourage strong flower stems, place it in the brightest spot in the room (it will greatly appreciate gentle sunlight). In a spot that is too dark, the leaves will remain yellow-green and the plant will not bloom. An east- or west-facing windowsill or a location right next to a window will be the perfect choice!

  • 💧 Watering: Regular, generous, and very careful. During active growth, the cymbidium prefers consistently moist conditions, but it cannot tolerate roots being submerged in standing water. Water or soak the plant thoroughly as soon as the surface layer of the substrate has dried. Since the specimen is in a 14 cm pot and is massive, it consumes a lot of water in summer, but the plant categorically cannot tolerate its roots and the bases of its bulbs standing in water for a long time in the saucer, as this may cause rot. Reduce watering significantly in winter.

  • 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: It thrives in moderate warmth and even cool conditions (+15°C to +22°C). The main secret to flowering: cymbidiums vitally need a difference between daytime and nighttime temperatures (in autumn, it enjoys cooler conditions of around +10°C to +14°C), which stimulates the development of magnificent flower stems. In summer, it will be endlessly grateful for time spent outdoors—in the garden or on the terrace. In winter, protect it from the dry, hot air produced by heating radiators!

  • 🐾 Pets: Pet-friendly / Non-toxic. Cymbidiums are non-toxic and completely safe to keep in your home with curious cats and dogs.

🏠 MOST SUITABLE ROOM:

  • Bright and spacious living rooms, entrance halls, home offices, and conservatories, where this grand 80 cm silhouette will receive the most light and serve as the main interior accent.

  • Modern, Scandinavian, or classic luxury interiors, where massive natural forms bring a festive atmosphere and royal grandeur.

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Height: 80 cm (grandly grown, strong, exceptionally dense, massive, large, and already visually stunning specimen) !! COURIER DELIVERY ONLY!!

  • Pot diameter: 14 cm

⚠️ Note and a dose of reality about cymbidiums: Plants are living organisms, so every specimen and the precise density of its leaves and bulb growth, as well as the nuances of its flower colors, are completely unique masterpieces of nature—no two plants in the world are identical. Since this is a large, exceptionally mature, and strong specimen in a generous 14 cm pot, it will not require immediate repotting (cymbidiums like to grow densely into their pots). When you repot it in the future, you MUST use a special orchid substrate made from a mixture of coarse/medium-grade pine bark and peat to provide the roots with oxygen and ideal drainage.
