Epipremnum 'Kiwi' or Golden Epipremnum (Epipremnum aureum 'Kiwi')

This charming and very small Epipremnum 'Kiwi' is a true rarity and a great find for houseplant lovers! This special, relatively new 'Kiwi' variety stands out with stunning, irregular leaf variegation – featuring a mix of dark green, bright yellow, and neon green shades that visually truly resemble the juicy colors of a kiwi fruit. Since this is still a very young seedling (a little one) in a small pot, you will have a unique and exciting opportunity to watch with your own eyes how this little wonder gradually transforms into a magnificent, trailing or climbing tropical vine! It is an extremely resilient, fast-growing, and air-purifying houseplant that will add a fresh, cheerful, and modern natural accent to any interior. CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright but diffused light. To maintain the plant’s unique 'Kiwi' variegation and color contrasts, it needs quite good lighting. In too dark a spot, the leaves will start losing their yellow accents and become simply green. Strictly protect it from direct, scorching midday sun rays, which will quickly burn the small leaves.

• 💧 Watering: Moderate. Allow the top layer of soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Since the plant is in a very small (6 cm) pot, the soil will dry out much faster than in larger houseplants, so moisture levels should be checked more frequently. However, be careful – its roots tolerate short periods of dryness much better than sitting in waterlogged soil!

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Thrives at standard room temperature and tolerates normal, dry indoor air well. Being of tropical origin, it will appreciate slightly higher humidity indoors. Keep strictly away from cold drafts, air conditioners, and open windows in winter!

• 🐾 Pets: Not pet-friendly. The plant is toxic to cats and dogs. Its leaves contain insoluble calcium oxalate crystals, which cause severe mouth irritation, drooling, swelling, and digestive issues if chewed. Keep it out of reach of your pets!

🏠 BEST LOCATION:

• A bright desk or small shelf (thanks to its current mini size, it fits perfectly even on a densely cluttered desk and will delight your eyes while working).

• Plant display case or glass terrarium (an absolutely ideal place to nurture the little one in a safe and humid environment).

• Bedroom (where it will perform its excellent air-purifying function).

⚠️ Note: Plants are living organisms, so each specimen and its leaf variegation may vary slightly from the description. Important to know: since this is a young seedling in a small pot, very soon (when the roots fully fill the current volume) it will need repotting into a slightly larger pot with loose, airy soil. Epipremnums are magical plants – if you let their vines hang freely downwards, the leaves will remain relatively small. However, if you provide this plant with a sturdy support (for example, a moist moss pole) to climb upwards, its leaves will grow impressively large over time!
