Episcia (Episcia cupreata)

Episcia is a true gem among houseplants, enchanting with its velvety, metallic shimmering leaves and bright, trumpet-shaped flowers. CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

  • ☀️ Light: Requires a bright spot, but definitely protect from direct, scorching sunlight. A north or east-facing windowsill is ideal.

  • 💧 Watering: Keep the soil evenly moist but not wet. Water moderately, allowing the top layer of soil to dry slightly. Use lukewarm water.

  • 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Loves warmth and high air humidity. Important: do not spray the leaves as they are fuzzy and can start to rot – it’s better to provide humidity by placing the pot on a tray with wet pebbles.

  • 🐾 Pets: Friendly – this plant is non-toxic to dogs and cats.

🏠 MOST SUITABLE ROOM:

  1. Bathroom with a window (natural humidity will help the plant thrive).

  2. Hanging pot in the living room (to highlight the beautiful, cascading leaves).

  3. Plant terrarium (ideal environment for a humidity lover).
