It adores and vitally needs direct sunlight, which prevents the twigs from stretching thin and stops the round leaves from falling off. • 💧 Watering: Regular, generous, and very consistent – this plant does not tolerate even brief drying out! Eucalyptus has a very fast metabolism: the soil in the pot must always be pleasantly and evenly moist like a squeezed sponge. As soon as the top layer of soil starts to lose moisture, water the plant abundantly. However, it absolutely cannot tolerate root rot caused by standing water in the saucer, which will lead to root decay. Water regularly and use only soft, lukewarm water.
