Fittonia (Fittonia)

This charming and delicate Fittonia, often called the "nerve plant" worldwide due to its expressive and fine leaf venation, is a true wonder of color and natural patterns. It is a perfect, compact, and highly decorative houseplant that will bring a noticeable and lively accent to any interior with its bright pink, white, or red leaves. It makes a great and very "chatty" gift for nature lovers, as the fittonia will never let you forget to water it – when thirsty, it dramatically droops its leaves, but just a few hours after watering, they perk up again!

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: A bright spot with diffused light or partial shade. To maintain the beautiful and contrasting leaf venation, the plant needs light, but it must be strictly protected from direct sunlight, which will quickly fade and burn the thin leaves.

• 💧 Watering: Regular. Keep the soil consistently and evenly moist, but do not let the roots sit in water. Fittonia does not tolerate prolonged drying out. When you notice the plant’s leaves starting to wilt and droop, it is a sure sign that it needs watering immediately.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Loves warmth and very high air humidity. The plant will be extremely grateful for regular fine misting (especially in dry heating season air) or the presence of a humidifier. Protect it from cold drafts!

• 🐾 Pets: Friendly. This colorful natural wonder is non-toxic and completely safe to have around cats and dogs in your home.

🏠 BEST ROOM:

• Glass terrarium or plant terrarium (an absolutely ideal environment to provide the plant with the much-needed tropical humidity).

• Bathroom with a window (the plant will literally enjoy the naturally prevailing warmth and humidity there).

• Office desk in a shadier part of the room (as a small, colorful, and motivating accent for the workday).
