Royal Pearl Gasterhaworthia 'Royal Highness' (x Gasterhaworthia 'Royal Highness')

Get ready to bring absolute botanical sophistication, exclusive geometry, and the most structured micro-accent in the houseplant world into your home, office, or workspace - the stunning Gasterhaworthia 'Royal Highness'! This unique natural masterpiece is a legendary hybrid (a successful cross between a Haworthia and a Gasteria) that has inherited the very best from both parents. The plant's greatest pride, magnet, and unmistakable signature is its breathtaking silhouette: in a dense, star-shaped rosette, especially firm, thick, triangular dark green leaves are arranged, literally covered with dense, raised, snow-white "pearls" (tubercles). This expressive, three-dimensional pattern and fleshy texture make it an exceptionally elegant and sculptural design element. It is currently a nicely grown, strong, exceptionally dense, and very promising 10 cm specimen in a compact 8.5 cm pot. It is the most prestigious, tasteful, and reliable gift for housewarmings, busy office workers, beginner plant enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a visually striking yet completely self-sufficient natural wonder!

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

  • ☀️ Light: Bright, generous, but preferably indirect light. Here lies the main secret to this plant's bright white pearls and health: the gasterhaworthia will especially enjoy gentle morning or afternoon sun (an east- or west-facing windowsill). Absolutely protect it from direct, scorching midday sun, which can quickly burn its fleshy leaves and turn them an unattractive reddish-brown or purple stress color.

  • 💧 Watering: Extremely infrequent, minimal, and very careful - this plant is a hardy succulent whose thick leaves are full of water reserves! Water the plant thoroughly, but ONLY when the soil in the pot is completely, 100% dry all the way to the bottom of the pot! It can withstand weeks of drought, but absolutely cannot tolerate its roots soaking in standing water in the saucer. Always drain away excess water, otherwise the roots will literally rot within a couple of days. Reduce watering drastically in winter.

  • 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: It feels excellent and comfortable at normal room temperatures (+18°C to +25°C). This plant easily tolerates dry indoor air, the heat of the heating season, and requires absolutely no misting or air humidification.

  • 🐾 Pets: Pet-friendly / Non-toxic. Like its parent plants (Haworthias and Gasterias), this hybrid is completely non-toxic and absolutely safe to keep in your home with curious cats and dogs.

🏠 BEST ROOM:

  • Bright desks, narrow shelves, children's rooms, and coffee tables, where this perfectly structured micro-accent will attract attention without taking up much space.

  • Modern, minimalist, Scandinavian, or eclectic-style interiors, where clean geometric lines, triangular shapes, and natural textures create visual order.

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Height: 10 cm

  • Pot diameter: 8.5 cm

⚠️ Note and a dose of reality about succulent hybrids: Plants are living organisms, so every specimen and the precise arrangement of its white pearls is a completely unique natural masterpiece. Important botanical fact: Gasterhaworthias are slow-growing, but thanks to their hybrid nature, they are often even hardier and more adaptable than pure species. Do not be surprised if the plant seems not to change size for months - it is simply taking its time building its substantial structure. If the plant's leaf tips suddenly begin to dry out and turn brown (or the leaves become soft), this is a warning sign of overwatering. When you repot it in the future, be SURE to use a special mineralized, sandy, and highly porous cactus/succulent soil mix (rich in grit and perlite) to ensure rapid drainage. Ordinary houseplant peat will quickly kill this plant!

📦 Pick it up promptly! When the package has been delivered, collect it the same day. Do not leave the package in the parcel locker overnight! Cold and heat can damage the plants and predatory mites.
