Worldwide, cacti of this genus are often called "chin cacti" due to their unique groove and tubercle shapes that resemble small chins beneath each spine. The 'Green Stripe' variety stands out with its distinctive, spherical shape and beautiful green-striped groove pattern. Thanks to its small size and legendary hardiness, it is absolutely perfect as a slow-growing and low-maintenance houseplant for any sunny windowsill. CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright, diffused light with morning or late afternoon sun. To maintain its beautiful, rounded shape and healthy coloration, it needs plenty of light. However, it is best to protect it from the strongest, scorching midday sun rays, which can burn the small cactus.

• 💧 Watering: Very rare and careful. As a desert plant, it is vital to allow the soil to dry completely (down to the bottom of the pot) between waterings. Overwatering and sitting in standing water will quickly rot it. During the winter dormancy period, watering should be reduced to an absolute minimum (or stopped entirely).

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Thrives at standard room temperature and literally loves normal, dry indoor air. It must not be misted! In summer, it will enjoy warmth and fresh air, but in winter it is recommended to provide a cool dormancy period (around 10–15°C), which can encourage beautiful flowering in spring.

• 🐾 Pets: Friendly but sharp! The plant itself is not toxic, but it has spines that can unpleasantly surprise curious cats and dogs, so it is best to place it in a safer spot.

🏠 MOST SUITABLE ROOM:

• Sunny windowsill in the living room or bedroom (east or west side is ideal to avoid the southern heat).

• Bright desk (thanks to its very compact 7.5 cm size, it will take up almost no space).

• Office with good lighting (as an aesthetic, unobtrusive, and truly low-maintenance addition to the work environment).
