Hibiscus or Chinese Rose (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis)

This magnificent and evergreen Hibiscus, most commonly known as the Chinese rose, is a true houseplant classic that never goes out of fashion. It stands out with its glossy, dark green leaves and absolutely stunning, large, funnel-shaped flowers that will bring the authentic atmosphere of a tropical island into your home. Although each individual flower delights for only one or two days, a healthy and happy plant produces them one after another throughout the season. CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright light and direct sunlight, especially in the morning or afternoon. For the Chinese rose to flower abundantly, it needs plenty of light. In a spot that is too dark, the plant will produce beautiful green foliage but will refuse to form flower buds.

• 💧 Watering: Water generously during the active growing and flowering period, in spring and summer. Keep the soil evenly moist, but do not allow the roots to sit in stagnant water in the saucer. Important: letting the soil dry out completely or watering very unevenly is the most common reason why a hibiscus suddenly drops its unopened flower buds! Reduce watering slightly during the winter months.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: It loves warmth and thrives at standard room temperature. In summer, the plant will be delighted to spend time outdoors in the fresh air, on a sunny balcony or in the garden. It appreciates regular misting, but try not to spray water directly onto the delicate flowers to avoid damaging them. Protect it carefully from cold drafts when airing the room in winter!

• 🐾 Pets: Pet-friendly. This exotic flowering plant is non-toxic and completely safe to keep in your home with cats and dogs.

• A bright and sunny living room (as a noticeable, cheerful, flowering focal point in the center of the room).

• A sunny balcony or terrace in summer (outdoors during the warm months, the plant will grow especially lush and healthy).

• A bright office (it will bring energy and summery colors to the work environment).
