Royal double amaryllis (hippeastrum) 'Exotic Nymph' (Hippeastrum 'Exotic Nymph' 26/28)

Get ready to bring absolute botanical theater into your home, springtime romance, and one of the most luxurious wonders of the houseplant world - the stunning Hippeastrum 'Exotic Nymph'! This masterpiece of nature is a real find for admirers of large, double and exotic flowers. The greatest pride, showstopper, and unmistakable signature of this exclusive 'Nymph' series variety are its breathtaking flowers: magnificent, double flowers bloom on a strong flower stalk, artistically shimmering in soft peach, apricot, and salmon-pink shades, interwoven with refined white veining and lighter edges. At the height of flowering, it looks like a luxurious, three-dimensional cloud of fairytale flowers, reminiscent of an expensive, fully opened peony! This is a premium, strong and healthy 26/28 cm bulb, fully ready for a rapid growth and flowering cycle, guaranteeing at least 1 to 2 strong flower stalks, each producing 4 massive flowers. This is the most prestigious, tasteful, and interactive gift for romantics, gardening enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to experience a magical and spectacular nature show in their living room.

CARE AND PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS:

  • ☀️ Light: You can initially keep a newly planted bulb in moderate light. However, as soon as the first green shoot appears (a flower stalk or leaf), be SURE to move it to the brightest and sunniest windowsill (south, east or west)! Abundant light is critically important for the flower stalk to grow straight and strong enough to support the weight of the heavy double flowers.

  • 💧 Watering: At first - almost not at all! As soon as you plant the bulb, water the soil just once and forget about watering until a clearly visible green shoot about 5 cm long appears! If you water the bulb before it starts sprouting, it will simply rot. When the plant is actively growing, water it regularly, keeping the soil slightly moist, but drain any excess water from the saucer. Pour the water around the edge of the pot, making ABSOLUTELY sure not to pour it directly onto the bulb!

  • 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: To wake the bulb and encourage sprouting, comfortable room warmth is needed (+21°C to +24°C). However, once the double flowers open, you can significantly extend their blooming time by placing the plant somewhere slightly cooler (+18°C). It absolutely does not require any misting.

  • 🐾 Keep away from pets and children: Amaryllis bulbs, leaves and flowers are highly toxic. They contain lycorine and other alkaloids, which, if chewed, cause severe vomiting, tremors and serious digestive problems in dogs and cats.

🏠 MOST SUITABLE ROOM:

  • Bright windowsills in living rooms, the dining table centerpiece (when in bloom), and bedrooms, where this cloud of peach and pink flowers will serve as an absolute focal point for the room and celebrations.

  • Romantic, classic, "cottagecore" or Scandinavian interiors, where soft pastel shades and grand natural forms bring an exceptionally strong sense of warmth.

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Size/Condition: 26/28 cm circumference. A strong and healthy dormant flower bulb (supplied without a pot or soil, ready for planting).

  • Height: Expected flower stalk height during blooming: 40–50 cm.

⚠️ A note and a reality check about hippeastrums: Plants are living organisms, and, when growing this bulb, you must strictly follow two golden rules! First: The bulb MUST NOT be buried completely in the soil! After planting, approximately 1/3 of the top of the bulb MUST be left above the soil level. Second: since the plant will produce heavy double flowers, you MUST plant it in a heavy, stable ceramic or clay pot! In a lightweight plastic pot, the plant is guaranteed to topple over from its own weight when it blooms. Once the spectacular flowering show is over, don't throw the bulb away - cut off the spent flower stalk, continue watering generously throughout spring and summer, fertilize it and grow its long green leaves. Through these leaves, the bulb will store energy and nutrients, so it can bloom again next year.

🌡️ COLD TIME! If the outside temperature is below +5°C, be sure to add a heat pack to the order so that plants and predatory mites do not freeze on the way.

❄️ In cold weather, we recommend choosing Smartpost parcel lockers, as they provide indoor delivery, reducing the impact of low temperatures on the shipment.

⚠️ Important about the heating element! ‼️ 1 heating element per 1 order – it is not necessary to put one for each plant. ‼️ Provides heat for up to 72 hours. Without a heating element – we do not take responsibility for frozen plants and predatory mites.

📦 Pick it up promptly! When the package has been delivered, collect it the same day. Do not leave the package in the parcel locker overnight! Cold and heat can damage the plants and predatory mites.
