CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright, abundant, but MANDATORILY diffused light. Here lies the main secret to this plant’s abundant flowering: Hoya 'Bella' requires a large amount of light to produce its famous porcelain flower clusters (it will especially enjoy gentle morning or late evening sun). However, strictly protect it from direct, scorching midday sun rays, which can instantly burn or yellow its delicate leaves. The best spot is near an east or west-facing window.

• 💧 Watering: Moderate, regular, and thoughtful. Unlike other hoyas, which tend to be distinctly succulent and tolerate prolonged dryness, 'Bella' grows in the wild as a tropical epiphyte and prefers slightly more consistent moisture. Water the plant generously, but only when the top layer of soil (the upper 2-3 cm of the pot) is completely dry between waterings! Since the plant is in a stable 12 cm pot, it retains moisture a bit longer, so the plant absolutely cannot tolerate root soaking in standing water in the saucer, which can cause sensitive root rot and bud drop. Reduce watering in winter.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: A warmth-loving tropical resident (ideally +18°C to +25°C). Thanks to its firm, waxy leaves, this hoya adapts excellently and completely effortlessly to normal, dry indoor air and does not require mandatory air humidification, making it an exceptionally grateful plant even during the winter heating season. The only rule: protect it from sudden temperature fluctuations and cold drafts (especially when flower buds are forming).

When you do repot it in the future, be sure to use an extremely airy, porous, and well-draining epiphyte soil mix (peat generously mixed with perlite and fine orchid/pine bark) to ensure the roots breathe freely and water drains instantly through the pot.
