CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright but diffused light. For the hoya to maintain its fantastic variegation and produce the famous pink (flamingo) new leaves, it needs a large amount of light. In too dark a place, the plant will start losing its pink and white tones, becoming simply green. Strictly protect it from direct, scorching midday sun rays, which will quickly burn the light leaf areas.

• 💧 Watering: Infrequent and very careful. Hoya leaves are thick and fleshy (they store water like succulents), so they tolerate drying out much better than overwatering! Allow the soil to almost completely dry out between waterings. Since the plant is in a relatively small (9 cm) pot, expect the soil to dry out a bit faster than in larger pots, but remember – it absolutely cannot tolerate root rot caused by standing water in the saucer, which will quickly cause decay.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Thrives at standard room temperature and adapts well to normal indoor air. As a tropical plant, it won’t mind slightly increased humidity, but it should not be excessively misted. Strictly protect it from cold drafts!

• 🐾 Pets: Pet-friendly. This spectacular vine is non-toxic and completely safe to have around curious cats and dogs in your home.

🏠 BEST LOCATION:

• Bright shelf or small hanging pot (allowing its colorful, pink strands to hang freely and elegantly downwards).

• Bright windowsill (if you plan to provide a support for it to climb and form a lush, vertical shape).

• Bedroom or living room (as a safe and visually very cheerful interior addition).

⚠️ Note: Plants are living organisms, so each specimen and the intensity of its pink color may vary slightly (the more diffused light, the brighter the new shoots!). It is important to know the natural secrets of hoyas: they tend to suddenly produce long, "bare" strands without leaves. Never cut these off! New leaves and flower clusters will eventually grow on these strands. Also remember – when the hoya has finished blooming, do not cut the old flower stalk, as next year’s new flowers will form from the same stalk! When repotting, be sure to use very light and loose soil (houseplant soil mixed generously with orchid bark and perlite works great) so the epiphytic roots can breathe freely.
