CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright but MANDATORILY diffused light. Here lies the main secret of this plant’s pink glow: since the creamy zones of the leaves contain very little chlorophyll, the plant vitally needs a large amount of light (it will especially enjoy the gentle morning or late evening sun rays) to maintain the vivid tricolor contrast and activate the famous pink "sun tan." However, strictly protect it from direct, scorching midday sun rays, which will instantly and irreversibly burn its slender, firm leaves. An east or west-facing windowsill is a perfect choice.

• 💧 Watering: Rare, moderate, and very careful! Since its slender leaves are distinctly thick, firm, and succulent, the plant stores water reserves in them perfectly for weeks. Water only when the soil in the pot is completely, 100% dry down to the bottom! Since the seedling is in a stable 9 cm pot, it will retain moisture a bit longer, so the plant absolutely cannot tolerate root soaking in standing water in the saucer, which can quickly cause sensitive root rot.
