CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright but MANDATORILY diffused light. For this delicate Hoya to maintain its dense, green form and bloom abundantly in the future, it needs a large amount of light (it will especially enjoy the gentle morning or late evening sun rays). However, strictly protect it from direct, scorching midday sun rays, which will instantly burn and irreversibly dry out its miniature, delicate leaves. An east or west-facing windowsill is an excellent choice.

• 💧 Watering: Rare and very careful! Since its leaves are very small and the soil volume in the 14 cm pot is larger, it is important not to overwater the plant. Allow the top layer and the middle layer of the soil to dry out thoroughly between watering sessions! It absolutely cannot tolerate root soaking in standing water in the saucer or decorative pot, which will quickly cause sensitive and delicate root rot. It is best to water when the top third of the pot is completely dry.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: In nature, this species grows in mountainous areas, so it prefers moderate warmth (+18°C to +24°C) and feels much better if the room temperature drops slightly at night. It will appreciate increased air humidity, which helps the small leaves develop more densely and healthily. In winter, strictly protect it from cold drafts and hot heating radiators!

• 🐾 Pets: Friendly. This beautiful and delicate wax flower is completely non-toxic and absolutely safe in your home with curious cats and dogs.

🏠 MOST SUITABLE LOCATION:

• A bright and warm windowsill in the morning or evening sun, where the plant receives optimal energy.

• A hanging pot (macramé) or a high shelf, allowing its countless, delicate stems to flow elegantly and lushly downward, creating a stunning green cascade.

⚠️ Note and reality check about wax flowers: Plants are living organisms, so each specimen and its stem density may vary slightly. It is important to know nature’s secrets: Hoyas naturally grow as vines or hanging plants and sometimes produce long, "bare" stems (strings) that initially have no leaves. Never cut these off! This is a completely normal natural process – when the long string receives enough light or finds a suitable spot, new miniature leaves will gradually and densely grow on it. If the plant blooms in the future, after flowering never cut off old flower stalks, because the Hoya will bloom next season from those same stems! When repotting this plant in the future, use an extremely airy and loose epiphyte/araceae soil mix (generously mixed with perlite and fine orchid bark) so its sensitive roots can breathe freely.
