CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright, abundant, but MANDATORILY diffused light. Here lies the main secret to this plant’s growth and future flowering: Hoya requires a large amount of light to maintain its thick leaves and form new buds (it especially enjoys gentle morning or late evening sun). However, strictly protect it from direct, scorching midday sun rays that will instantly burn its waxy leaves. The best spot is near an east or west-facing window.

• 💧 Watering: Extremely moderate, infrequent, and very thoughtful. Since Hoya has thick, juicy leaves that act as water reservoirs, it does not tolerate living in constant sogginess. Water the plant generously, but only when the soil in the pot is completely, 100% dry down to the bottom between waterings! Because this small seedling is in a 6 cm pot, it dries out relatively quickly, but the plant absolutely cannot tolerate root rot caused by standing water in the saucer, which can quickly cause sensitive root decay. Reduce watering significantly in winter. If in doubt – feel free to wait a few more days.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: A warmth-loving tropical resident (ideally +18°C to +25°C). Thanks to its thick leaves, this Hoya adapts excellently and without any problems to normal, dry indoor air and does not require mandatory air humidification, making it an exceptionally grateful plant even during the winter heating season. The only rule: protect it from sudden temperature fluctuations and cold drafts in winter.
