• ☀️ Light: Bright, but MUST be indirect. This is the secret to closed terrariums' survival: glass acts like a magnifying glass and a greenhouse. Strictly protect it from direct sunlight! Leaving this container in direct, scorching sunlight will turn it into a sauna, and the nerve plant will bake and die within a few hours. A north- or east-facing window or a well-lit table inside the room will be perfect.

• 💧 Watering: Practically none! Since this is a closed container with a lid, water continuously circulates inside it – it evaporates, condenses on the glass, and falls back onto the soil. Water (or rather, lightly mist with a couple of sprays of clean water) ONLY if the soil looks completely dry and no condensation forms on the glass walls in the morning.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Fittonias are “drama queens” when it comes to humidity, quickly wilting in dry indoor air, but this glass dome gives them ideal, 100% tropical humidity! ⚠️ A note and a dose of reality about closed terrariums: Plants are living organisms, and, when purchasing this ecosystem, you need to understand its “breathing” rhythm! First, condensation (sweating) on the glass is NORMAL and desirable, especially in the mornings or when the room temperature changes. However, if the glass becomes completely opaque with huge water droplets and this doesn’t go away, simply remove the lid for a couple of hours, allowing excess moisture to evaporate, otherwise the plant may start to mold. Second, the fittonia is expressive – if you suddenly see all its leaves dramatically drooping and “fainting,” don’t panic! That’s its way of shouting to say: “I’m thirsty!” As soon as you moisten the soil a little, it will rise like a phoenix from the ashes within a few hours. The main golden rule: since the container has no drainage holes, overwatering can seriously damage the plant.
