CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright but diffused light. For the palm to grow new, magnificent leaves, it needs a large amount of light. It will thrive on the east or west side, but strictly protect it from direct, scorching midday sun rays, which will instantly burn its glossy leaves.

• 💧 Watering: Regular and attentive. Unlike many other houseplants, Livistona likes evenly slightly moist soil (it must not dry out completely!). Allow only the top layer of soil to dry slightly between watering. However, be careful – it strictly dislikes root soaking in standing water in the saucer, which quickly causes root rot.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Loves warmth and literally adores high air humidity! To prevent leaf tips from turning brown and drying out (which often happens in dry indoor air), it is recommended to regularly mist the plant with soft, room-temperature water or place it near a humidifier. Strictly protect it from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes!

• 🐾 Pets: Friendly. This magnificent palm is non-toxic and biologically safe in your home with curious cats and dogs. (Note: although the plant is not poisonous, keep in mind that the palm leaf stalks are covered with small, sharp spines that can cause mechanical injuries if a pet tries to chew them.)

⚠️ Note: Plants are living organisms, so each specimen and its crown fullness may slightly differ from the description. It is important to know the natural secrets about palms: it is completely normal and natural for the older (lower) palm leaves to turn yellow, brown, and dry out over time. The plant "sacrifices" them to give energy to grow new leaves from the center! When the old leaf is completely dry, it can be carefully cut close to the trunk. Don’t forget to regularly wipe dust off the broad leaves with a damp cloth so the palm can breathe freely, and handle the sharp leaf stalks carefully!
