CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Maximum bright light and direct sunlight. For the banana tree to produce its huge leaves and maintain its beautiful red coloration, it needs a lot of sun. A south or southwest-facing window is an absolutely ideal choice. In too dark a place, it will stop growing and lose its color.

• 💧 Watering: Abundant and regular. Banana trees are extremely thirsty and hungry plants! During the active growing season (spring and summer), keep the soil evenly and thoroughly moist, but make sure the plant does not sit in standing water for long (this can rot its thick roots). Reduce watering slightly in the winter months.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Loves warmth and requires extremely high air humidity. In dry indoor air, the edges and tips of its large leaves will quickly turn brown and dry. The plant will thrive with a powerful humidifier nearby and regular misting of the leaves with warm, soft water. In summer, it can safely be placed outside in the sun and sheltered on a terrace or garden! Protect it from cold drafts.

• 🐾 Pets: Friendly. Unlike many other tropical plants, this mighty banana tree is non-toxic and completely safe to have around cats and dogs in your home.

🏠 BEST ROOM:

• A spacious and sunny living room (as an absolute and very fast-growing central accent of the room, which will need plenty of space over time to spread its leaves).

• A bright winter garden or glazed terrace (where the plant can receive maximum light, warmth, and humidity).

• A bright bathroom with large windows (an ideal environment where the plant can enjoy naturally increased humidity from the shower).
