Butterwort or Mexican Pinguicula (Pinguicula)
Meet Pinguicula – an unusual carnivorous plant that visually resembles a succulent green rosette. Its soft, thick leaves are covered with microscopic glands that sparkle like dewdrops, attracting and naturally controlling small indoor insects such as fruit flies. This houseplant is an excellent gift for curious nature lovers and a modern interior, combining unusual functionality with a romantic and compact appearance.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS

☀️ Light: Bright, diffused light. The plant likes light but protect it from harsh midday sun rays.

💧 Watering: Moderate. Unlike other carnivorous plants, pinguicula does not tolerate constant "standing water." Water from below (tray) when the top layer of soil starts to dry out. Use only distilled or rainwater.

🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Prefers average room temperature. Misting is not recommended as it can wash away the sticky layer from the leaves.

🐾 Pets: Pet-friendly – pinguiculas are non-toxic to pets.
