CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright but ABSOLUTELY indirect light. This is the main secret to the plant's vivid berries and longevity: nertera needs plenty of filtered light, but it must be strictly protected from direct sunlight, which will quickly dry out its delicate leaves and berries. An east- or north-facing windowsill will be perfect.

• 💧 Watering: Regular, generous, and subject to one very special condition! Nertera likes consistently and evenly moist soil. GOLDEN RULE: water this plant ONLY FROM BELOW, pouring water into the saucer and allowing the soil to absorb it, then draining away any remaining water after 20 minutes. If you pour water directly from above, the orange berries and delicate leaves will quickly begin to rot when they come into contact with water. Never allow the root ball to dry out completely!

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: A lover of cool conditions! This plant will preserve its coral berries best and longest (even for several months) in cooler rooms (+10°C to +15°C). In warm, dry indoor air, the berries will quickly shrivel and fall off. An unheated veranda, glazed balcony, or cooler windowsill is ideal. In winter, strictly protect it from the hot, dry air of heating radiators!

• 🐾 Keep away from pets and children: Nertera's small, vivid coral berries are mildly toxic and may cause digestive tract disturbances (nausea). Since the berries visually resemble small, appealing sweets, you MUST place this plant somewhere inaccessible to small children, cats, and dogs!
