Cambria 3

Cambria or Cambria Orchid (Cambria)

This exceptionally beautiful and exotic Cambria is not found in the wild - it is a specially created orchid hybrid that combines the best qualities of several botanical species to delight us with stunning, patterned flowers and be easy to grow at home. It stands out with long, graceful flower stems and flowers that often appear in mottled burgundy, yellow, pink, or white shades, as well as interesting swellings (pseudobulbs) at the base of the plant. This is a refined and elegant flowering houseplant that will add a luxurious, tropical atmosphere to any interior. It is a wonderful, long-flowering gift for both experienced orchid growers and anyone who loves color and the beauty of nature!

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright, indirect light. For Cambria to flower abundantly and produce new shoots, it needs plenty of light. An east- or west-facing windowsill is most suitable. It must be protected from direct, scorching midday sunlight, which will quickly burn its light green leaves.

• 💧 Watering: Special and moderate. The best way to water the orchid is to immerse the pot in room-temperature water for 10–15 minutes and then allow the excess water to drain completely. Unlike phalaenopsis orchids, Cambria roots should not be allowed to dry out completely (the substrate should be slightly moist but not wet). Soft, filtered, or rainwater is preferable for watering.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: It thrives at standard room temperature. To encourage the formation of new flower stems, the plant enjoys slight temperature fluctuations between day and night (cooler at night). It appreciates higher humidity, but never spray water directly onto the flowers, as this will cause unattractive spots and make the flowers wilt quickly.

• 🐾 Pets: Pet-friendly. This flowering tropical beauty is non-toxic and completely safe to keep in your home with cats and dogs.

🏠 MOST SUITABLE ROOM:

• Bright bedroom (if the room becomes slightly cooler at night, this will greatly encourage the orchid to flower).

• Living room by an east- or west-facing window (as an absolute central, flowering focal point of the room).

• Bright bathroom with a window (where the plant can enjoy naturally higher humidity, but beware of excessive heat).

SPECIFICATIONS:

• Height: 20 cm

• Pot diameter: 9 cm

⚠️ Note: Plants are living organisms, so each specimen may differ slightly from the one shown in the image. Since "Cambria" is the name of a group of hybrids, the flower color, shape, and patterns may vary considerably. Important to know: the swellings (pseudobulbs) at the base of the plant are stores of water and nutrients. When the plant is flowering or lacks moisture, these bulbs may wrinkle slightly - this is a completely natural process. Once the flower stem has completely dried out and turned brown, it can be safely cut off.
