CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Moderate to bright, but ABSOLUTELY indirect light. This is where the main secret to this plant’s long-lasting flowering power lies: the phalaenopsis needs plenty of filtered light so that its snow-white flowers remain fresh and new buds can develop (it will especially enjoy gentle morning sun). However, strictly protect it from direct, scorching midday sunlight, which can quickly burn its thick leaves and delicate flower tissues. An east- or west-facing windowsill is the perfect choice!

• 💧 Watering: Moderate, infrequent, and careful (soaking method). Phalaenopsis roots feel best when they have time to dry slightly between waterings. Water (soak) the plant once every 7–10 days, when the roots visible through the transparent pot turn from lush green to silvery gray! Place the pot in a bowl of lukewarm, soft water for 10–15 minutes, then allow all excess water to drain completely. The plant absolutely cannot tolerate its roots or the center of its leaf rosette sitting in stagnant water, which can quickly cause rot.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: It feels excellent and comfortable in warmth (+18°C to +24°C). This orchid adapts easily and exceptionally well to ordinary indoor air. Important tip: to encourage the formation of new flower spikes in the future, the plant will appreciate a slight difference between daytime and nighttime temperatures in autumn (approximately a 4–5°C difference). In winter, protect it from the dry heat of radiators and cold, icy drafts!

⚠️ Note and a dose of reality about orchids: Plants are living organisms, so each specimen and its exact number of flowers, stem shape, or ratio of open flowers to buds may vary slightly, creating a unique natural form. An important orchid secret: when an orchid finishes flowering after several months, do not cut the green flower spike all the way down to the base! Cut it above the second or third “node” (eye) – very often, a new side flower spike with a new wave of blooms will grow from there. Since this is already a nicely mature plant in a special 12 cm orchid pot, it will not require repotting for at least 1–2 years. When you eventually repot it, ALWAYS use a special coarse pine bark substrate for orchids, not ordinary houseplant soil!
