CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright but MANDATORILY diffused light. Here lies the main secret of this plant’s "leopard" pattern: since the white and cream-colored areas of the leaves contain no chlorophyll, the plant needs a large amount of light (it will especially enjoy gentle morning or late evening sun) to maintain the contrasting variegation and prevent new leaves from emerging plain green. However, strictly protect it from direct, scorching midday sun rays, which will instantly and irreversibly burn its precious, velvety leaves.

• 💧 Watering: Moderate and very thoughtful. Allow the top layer and middle layer (upper third of the pot) of the soil to dry out thoroughly between waterings! This species is extremely sensitive to overwatering – since its stem (rhizome) lies on the soil surface, excessive moisture will quickly cause it to rot. Absolutely avoid letting the roots sit in standing water in the saucer.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: A warmth-loving tropical resident (ideally +18°C to +25°C) that will be extremely happy with increased air humidity (above 60%). High humidity is critically important for the new velvety leaves to open easily and without cracks and for their edges not to brown.
