CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright, abundant, and maximally sunny conditions! This is the key secret to developing this plant's vivid orange lanterns: physalis needs plenty of light (it will love and requires direct sunlight). In a place that is too dark, the plant will not color its lanterns in vivid shades, and the leaves may become dull. A south-, east-, or west-facing windowsill, as well as a sunny balcony, will be the perfect choice!

• 💧 Watering: Regular, moderate, and very careful. Physalis likes consistent, light moisture in the soil, but it absolutely does not tolerate waterlogged roots. Water the plant thoroughly as soon as the top layer of soil (the upper 2-3 cm of the pot) has completely dried out. Since the plant is in a relatively small pot, it may require more frequent watering on hotter and sunnier days, but it categorically cannot tolerate its roots standing in water in the saucer.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: It feels excellent and comfortable in moderate warmth and even cool conditions (+10°C to +22°C). This is a hardy autumn-season plant that absolutely adores well-ventilated, cooler rooms. It is an ideal candidate for unheated glazed balconies, verandas, or terraces.
