Compact Snake Plant 'Comet Mini Queen' (Sansevieria 'Comet Mini Queen' / Dracaena)

This extremely attractive and compact Snake Plant 'Comet Mini Queen' (now botanically classified as Dracaena) is a true find for minimalism lovers and busy plant owners. Unlike its taller relatives, this dwarf variety forms a neat, low, and dense rosette with firm, wide leaves adorned with a striking silvery-green stripe. Since it takes up little space and is famously resilient, it is an ideal and air-purifying houseplant for smaller rooms, adding a modern, geometric accent to any interior. It is absolutely carefree and a very charming gift for both plant beginners and office workers!

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Diffused light, partial shade, or even direct sunlight. This plant is extremely adaptable! Although it grows fastest and with the most beautiful leaf pattern in a bright spot with indirect sun, it will also survive without complaint in the darkest corner of a room (though growth will be much slower and color contrast will diminish).

• 💧 Watering: Very infrequent. This is a succulent that stores water reserves in its tough leaves. Allow the soil to dry out completely and thoroughly (down to the bottom of the pot) between waterings. Important: overwatering and soaking in standing water is practically the only way to kill this hardy natural child! In winter months, watering can be reduced to as little as once a month.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Thrives at standard room temperature and literally loves normal, dry indoor air. It must not be misted, and additional humidity is not necessary. Protect it from prolonged cold and frost.

• 🐾 Pets: Not pet-friendly. The plant is toxic to cats and dogs. The saponins in its leaves can cause digestive tract irritation, excessive salivation, and vomiting if chewed.

🏠 BEST SUITED ROOM:

• Desk or shelf (thanks to its compact size, it is an ideal "desk plant" that won’t take up much space but will look very elegant).

• Bedroom (snake plants are famous as one of the few plants that absorb toxins and release oxygen even at night!).

• Windowless bathroom or darker hallway (thanks to its ability to survive in low light conditions).

⚠️ Note: Plants are living organisms, so each specimen may differ slightly from the one shown in the picture. Since 'Mini Queen' is a dwarf variety, don’t expect it to suddenly stretch into a meter-tall giant – it invests its energy in rosette density and growing new "babies" (side shoots) at the base. Sometimes its tough leaf tips may dry out slightly and become sharp, which is a completely normal natural defense mechanism!
