CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Moderate to medium bright, but MANDATORILY diffused light. Here lies the main secret of this plant’s dark charm: for 'Rubicon' to maintain its renowned deep and almost black velvet tone, it prefers moderate light or partial shade. Unlike variegated plants, this black treasure also adapts well to spots deeper inside the room. Strictly protect it from direct, scorching midday sun rays, which will instantly and irreversibly burn its unique, precious velvet leaves. An east or west-facing windowsill is a perfect choice.

• 💧 Watering: Rare, moderate, and very careful! Since its leaves are thick, firm, and excellent at retaining moisture, the plant does not tolerate constant root soaking. Water only when the topsoil and the middle layer (upper part of the pot) are completely dry between watering sessions! As the plant is in a stable 12 cm pot, it will retain moisture a bit longer, so the plant absolutely cannot tolerate standing water in the saucer, which can quickly cause sensitive root rot.
