Variegated Wax Ivy (Senecio macroglossus 'Variegatus')

This Variegated Wax Ivy, often also called "Wax Ivy," is a refined and resilient houseplant that combines the classic shape of ivy with the modesty of succulents. Its thick, waxy leaves are adorned with an elegant cream-colored variegation that brings light and vitality to the interior. It is an ideal gift for busy people, as the plant is very easy to care for and tolerates irregular watering while maintaining its decorative appearance.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Prefers a very bright spot and can also tolerate direct sunlight. In case of insufficient light, the leaves may lose their beautiful variegation.

• 💧 Watering: Moderate to infrequent. Since this is a succulent, the soil should be allowed to almost completely dry out between watering. Excess moisture can harm the roots.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Thrives at room temperature and tolerates dry air well. Misting is not necessary, which makes care easier during the heating season.

• 🐾 Pets: Not pet-friendly. The plant is toxic to cats and dogs if ingested.

🏠 BEST LOCATION:

• Sunny windowsill (south or west-facing).

• High shelf (so the waxy branches can hang freely downward).

• Hanging pot (in a bright corner of the room).
