It stands out with elongated leaves adorned with a fantastic tricolor (Triostar) pattern – the leaf surface alternates between dark green and creamy white or soft pink brushstroke-like patterns, while the underside hides a breathtaking, bright magenta (fuchsia) pink color. Like marantas and calatheas, this stromanthe also belongs to the "praying plants" – in the evenings, as darkness approaches, it raises its leaves upright (revealing the pink undersides!), and in the morning, it lowers them again. CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright but diffused light. For the stromanthe to maintain its expressive, tricolor leaf variegation and not lose the pink tone, it needs a large amount of light. However, strictly protect it from direct, scorching sunlight, which will quickly burn and fade its thin leaves. An east or north-facing windowsill is an excellent choice.

• 💧 Watering: Regular and very attentive. Stromanthe likes evenly slightly moist soil – it absolutely cannot tolerate complete drying out, as its leaves will quickly curl and the tips will turn brown. The most important rule: this plant is extremely sensitive to chlorine and hard tap water! Use ONLY soft, settled, filtered, or (best) rainwater at room temperature for watering.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Thrives at standard room temperature, but the biggest secret to this plant’s beauty is very high air humidity! In dry indoor air, its leaf tips will quickly turn brown and crispy. A humidifier nearby is almost a must for a flawless appearance. Strictly protect it from cold drafts, air conditioners, and dry radiator air!

• 🐾 Pets: Pet-friendly. This colorful, moving plant is non-toxic and completely safe in your home with curious cats and dogs.

🏠 BEST ROOM:

• Bright bathroom with a window (an absolutely ideal place, as the plant will literally adore the natural humidity there).

• Bright living room or bedroom right next to a humidifier (where you can watch its magical leaf folding in the evenings).

⚠️ Note: Plants are living organisms, so each specimen and its unique, colorful leaf pattern may vary slightly. It is important to know nature’s secrets: even the most experienced growers sometimes see the leaf tips of stromanthes dry out – this is normal and indicates insufficient air humidity! You can carefully trim the brown tips with scissors, following the natural shape of the leaf to restore the plant’s aesthetic appearance. Also, don’t be alarmed if the plant raises its leaves upright in the evenings – this is not a sign of thirst but a natural movement. When repotting, be sure to use airy, humus-rich, and moisture-retentive houseplant soil (with added perlite or bark pieces) and don’t forget good drainage at the bottom of the pot.
