CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

 ☀️ Light: Bright, but MANDATORILY diffused light. Here lies the main secret of this plant’s bright tones: for tradescantia to maintain its famous rainbow colors (especially the pink and purple accents), it needs a lot of light (it will really enjoy the gentle morning or late evening sun rays). If the plant is in too much shade, it will lose its color contrast and simply bloom green. However, strictly protect it from direct, burning midday sun rays, which will instantly scorch its juicy leaves. An east or west-facing windowsill is a perfect choice.

 💧 Watering: Moderate and thoughtful. As a succulent plant with fragile stems, tradescantia does not tolerate constant living in a swamp. Water only when the top layer of soil in the pot is completely dry between watering! Since the small seedling is in a tiny 6 cm mini pot, it will dry out relatively quickly, but the plant absolutely intolerant of root soaking in standing water in a saucer, which will quickly cause sensitive stem and root rot. If in doubt – feel free to wait another day or two.

 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Feels great and comfortable at standard room temperatures (+18°C to +24°C). Unlike other fussy tropical plants, tradescantia adapts perfectly without any problems to normal, dry indoor air and requires no special humidity, making it an exceptionally easy plant to care for even during the winter heating season. The only rule: protect it from cold drafts!

 🐾 Pets: Keep away from pets. Tradescantia sap can cause mild digestive tract or skin irritation in cats and dogs if chewed. Keep this small, bright seedling out of reach of four-legged friends (for example, on a higher shelf or in a hanging pot).

It is important to note that you are receiving a young plant (in a 6 cm pot)! Small seedlings should be handled gently at first, but there’s no need to worry about tradescantia – it grows extremely dynamically and will quickly stretch its bright stems over the pot edges. A little nature secret: to keep the plant as dense, lush, and bushy as possible in the future, you can safely "pinch" (cut) the tips of its shoots from time to time – this will stimulate the plant to branch generously and produce more new, vibrant shoots. When repotting this plant in the future, use a light, airy, and well-draining soil mix for houseplants, mixed with a bit of perlite to ensure the roots can always breathe freely.
