This extremely unusual, charming, and exotic plant is a true botanical wonder and a great rarity in the world of houseplants! The fluffy tradescantia stands out because all its leaves and stems are densely covered with soft, silvery-white fuzz (like a fine spider web), which in nature protects the plant from harsh sun and moisture loss. This particular 'Variegata' variety is even more special because beneath the white fuzz lies a fantastic leaf coloration – green, cream, and even bright pink stripes! Since this is still a very small plant (a baby) in a small pot, you will have a wonderful opportunity to watch it quickly grow and transform into a unique, trailing or creeping houseplant. CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright but diffused light. To maintain its beautiful, colorful variegation (pink and white stripes) and grow compactly, it needs a lot of light. In too dark a place, it will stretch and the leaves will turn simply green. However, protect it from very harsh midday sun rays, which can burn the delicate, colorful leaves.

• 💧 Watering: Moderate and very careful. Allow the top layer of soil to dry slightly between waterings. Since the plant is in a very small (6 cm) pot, the soil will dry out much faster than in larger houseplants. The most important golden rule: when watering, be extremely careful to avoid getting water on the fuzzy leaves! The fuzz retains moisture, and wet leaves will quickly start to rot. It is best to water this plant from below (pour water into the saucer and let it absorb, then pour out the excess).

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Thrives at standard room temperature and literally loves normal, dry indoor air! As mentioned above, this fluffy plant must not be misted to avoid fungal diseases and leaf rot.

• 🐾 Pets: Not pet-friendly. The plant is mildly toxic to cats and dogs. Its sap, if chewed, can cause oral and skin irritation, drooling, and mild digestive upset. Keep it out of reach of pets!

🏠 BEST LOCATION:

• A bright desk or small shelf (thanks to its current mini size, it will fit perfectly on any bright surface).

• A bright and sunny windowsill (where there is enough light to maintain the vivid leaf variegation).

• A hanging pot in the future (when the baby grows, it will produce fantastic, fluffy, and colorful shoots that will hang over the pot edges).

⚠️ Note: Plants are living organisms, so each specimen and its leaf variegation may differ slightly from the description. Important to know: tradescantias grow very quickly. Very soon (when the roots fill the small pot), the plant will need repotting into a slightly larger pot with airy soil. If over time the shoots become too long or "bare" at the base, feel free to prune them ruthlessly! Pruning will stimulate the plant to become bushier, making it thicker and more luxurious, and the cuttings can be easily rooted and replanted back into the pot near the mother plant.
