Tree Fern Fiber is made from the fibrous stem of the Kuripaka tree fern native to New Zealand.
It can be mixed with your regular soil mix or used alone. It can also be used as a propagation medium for cuttings.
Fern fiber has become widely known as a "miracle" potting substrate because of its ability to magically increase the growth rate of your plants. This growing medium has also been known to be of great help in regenerating plants that may have succumbed to root rot.
It is ideal for indoor plants like Aroids, Hoya and even orchids, yet we haven't found a plant that doesn't like it!
The advantages of using tree fern fiber are:
-Promotes rapid and strong root growth
-Water permeability
-Stops root rot
- When mixed with other planting soil, it provides good soil aeration.
