CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright, indirect light. To maintain the beautiful dark pitcher coloration, the plant needs plenty of light (morning or evening sun is ideal), but be sure to protect it from direct, scorching midday sunlight, which can burn the leaves.

• 💧 Watering: Special care required! The soil should remain constantly moist, but not excessively wet (the roots must not remain submerged in standing water for extended periods). Absolutely essential: use only rainwater, distilled water, or reverse-osmosis water for watering. The minerals in ordinary tap water will quickly kill this bog plant.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: It loves warmth and high humidity. If the air in the room is too dry, the plant will stop producing new pitchers, while the old ones will quickly dry out. The plant will greatly appreciate a humidifier or regular misting of the air around it with distilled water.

• 🐾 Pets: Pet-friendly. This exotic insect hunter is non-toxic and completely safe to keep in your home with cats and dogs.

🏠 IDEAL ROOM:

• Bathroom with a window (the plant will literally adore the naturally high tropical humidity there).

• Hanging in a pot or placed on a stand near an east- or west-facing window (where its dark pitchers can hang freely downward and attract attention).

• Plant display case or glass cabinet (an ideal environment if the air indoors is particularly dry).
