CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• ☀️ Light: Bright, diffused light. To allow the plant to develop its spectacular pitchers, it needs plenty of light, but be sure to protect it from direct, scorching midday sun rays that can burn the leaves.

• 💧 Watering: Special! The soil must be kept consistently moist but not overly wet (roots must not sit in water for long periods). Absolutely essential: use only rainwater, distilled, or reverse osmosis water for watering. The minerals in regular tap water will quickly kill this bog plant.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Loves warmth and very high air humidity. If the air in the room is too dry, the plant will stop producing new pitchers, and the old ones will quickly wither. The plant will greatly appreciate the presence of a humidifier or living in a bright terrarium.

• 🐾 Pets: Friendly. This exotic insect hunter is non-toxic and completely safe to have around cats and dogs in your home.

🏠 BEST ROOM:

• Bathroom with a window (the plant will literally adore the naturally high tropical humidity there).

• Hanging pot by an east or west window (where its pitchers can hang freely downward and delight the eyes).

• Children’s room (under supervision, so children can study natural processes, keeping in mind the high humidity requirement).
